Overview

A large part of Springfield Door Deals’ distribution is done by community organizations. We have put over $40,000 back into the community every year through our fundraisers. The best part about fundraising with Door Deals is that a group can show up for one afternoon and take home a check for the work that was completed that day. All you have to do is meet our Door Deals team on a weekend afternoon with a minimum of 8 workers, take our pre-made maps and directions, and hang our marketing pieces on the front doors of each route.  This fun, team oriented fund-raiser will provide great exercise for all involved. Distributing door hangers is a great way to raise funds because it allows the organization to keep every penny raised, as opposed to fund-raising by selling products while keeping only a percentage of the sales.

How it works

The group will break up into teams of 4 with one driver (usually a parent or supervisor). Door Deals will give each team a map with street names/location along with a stack of hangers that matches the number of houses on the map. When all the teams have finished distributing their hangers, Door Deals will write the organization a check… it’s as easy as that! Door Deals pays the group on a per house basis, thus the more hangers a group has, the more houses the group can hang, and the more money the organization can take home. We encourage groups to do more than one fund-raiser a year. Usually the second or third time the group can distribute much faster and make a lot more money. We have several groups that currently fund-raise with us  about 8 or 9 times a year.

Getting started

It is extremely easy to get your organization on our 2011 fundraising list, just e-mail rachel@doordeals.com with your organization’s name and contact information, and someone from our team will contact you. You may also call 417-799-2233 to speak with someone directly. We have plenty of work available so tell anyone you know that is in charge of fund-raising for their group.  Although distributing door hangers is hard work, when was the last time that making money for an organization was so easy?
